Giving In

I let the kids go to their Dad's (read: Grandparents) house this weekend for a special party. The arrangement was that they would arrange transportation for the kids so that I wouldn't have to drive. HA! I fell for it. They have a friend who lives in the same city as me who was going up to the farm this weekend anyway, so my kids caught a ride with her Friday night. I found out later that the he-ex gave her $20 for gas. I was supposed to have the kids home - on my doorstep - Sunday morning. Hehehe (I'm such a dummy) My former MIL calls and asks, "Can we meet you somewhere?" and I heard myself say "Yes"! We were to meet half way sometime between 12:30 - 1:00. You know what time they got there? 2:30. Did I get any gas money? Ah HaHa! Of Course Not!

Randy played drums with his Dad for the party this weekend. As I mentioned before, It was a paying gig. $150.00 to play twelve songs. Randy got $25. SuperDad kept the rest.

FMIL told me that she wanted Kianna to become a member of the pony club. She'd pay for it - not to worry - It'd just involve some time. I think that she could tell that I wasn't about to say yes to any more of her requests because she told me she'd call me about it and actually RAN away from me! Yeah, 'cause I'm just that scary.

I don't have any pictures of Kianna riding because she was too young when I the he-ex and I split, but I hear she's pretty good at it now. Here's a pic of Randy on the pony. He must have been about 4 years old - maybe 5?

I had more to say, but just looked at the time and if I don't boogie, I'll be late for work. To Be Continued.
