Well, the party weekend is over. My son's birthday party went really well. He said he had a great time. It seems that everyone at my work Christmas party was there for the same reasons that I was - just to put in an appearance. Most of us left at 10:00. It was nice to have the owners serve me for a change though, but then I wondered....Am I supposed to tip?? I didn't.

It turns out that just before the party, the boss laid off about five of the servers. I wasn't one of them - I guess I'm appreciated???
