Blinded by the light

Hubby kept me out until 4 a.m. last night so I slept in this morning. Well..At least I attempted to. Our bedroom is at the back of the house and the sun shines there first thing in the morning. The bed is right under the window. The window was open and the cool breeze was blowing the blinds, letting in the sunlight.

This has been happening to me since I was a kid. When I sleep in, I usually dream. When the sunlight hits my closed eyes I go blind in my dreams. It freaks me out every time. I'll be having a perfectly normal dream and all of a sudden everything goes white. I can't see in my dreams. I start bumping into things and falling over. I panic. I usually don't tell anyone about it and attempt to carry on with whatever I was doing. It's a horrible feeling...Going blind. This happened to me again this morning. I went blind in my dream. This time there were some mean girls there that thought it was funny and kept pushing me around. I fell face first into some fat mans stomach and was very embarrassed. These dreams are so stressful. I awoke to the sound of the neighbors lawnmower and realized what had happened. I need to sleep at night. When it's dark. Like normal people do. Has this ever happened to you?

Maybe I should get one of those mask thingy's. But I'm also a bit claustrophobic.
