The she-ex stopped by last night to pick up her daughter. Hubby started talking to her about her car situation and they made their way downstairs to check out a couple of black book prices on the computer. She ended up being here for more than two hours. In my house. With my husband. On my computer. I was pissed! Then, Hubby got a call and had to leave. I figured that would be her queue to go also. Not so. Hubby allowed her to stay and surf while he left the house. I was NOT impressed! And I let him know it.
She of course, was very sweet. Thanked me repeatedly and left about 15 min. After Hubby did.
Hubby and I had a talk when he got home and although I did make some very valid points, I had to apologize for my attitude. He reminded me of things that I have told him many times like Two wrongs don't make a right and Give, and it will come back to you and Pray for your enemies, Be kind.
She won't even let me set foot in her house. She won't allow my daughter to come over and play even after her daughter has begged her to. And yet, I'm supposed to let her sit in my house with my husband for hours using my computer and internet to make sure she's getting a good deal when and if she decides to buy our car. Believe me honey - It's a good deal!
But ya know, Hubby's right. I need to be the better person. It's just sooo hard to do with her! But I'll try.
