Another long weekend

So many people have offered to take time out of their lives to spend the day with me. Thanks to each one of you. I got another such offer again this morning from an unexpected source. The he-ex called and when he heard the news he offered to come to the hospital with me. Of course, I would have had to drive to Hamilton to pick him up, but it's the thought that counts. The fact that he would be there for me while I mourned the loss of another man's child - well, that's just simply amazing.

I'm scheduled for a D&C on Tuesday. The Doc. was very nice and sympathetic. When I sat down in his office, he grabbed the tissue box and placed it in front of me. He apologized that I had to sit in the waiting room with two pregnant women. Unfortunately, he didn't have any answers as to WHY this happened. He said that we could start to do some genetic testing but that it probably isn't necessary at this point. He said a lot of other stuff too, but his accent is so thick that I couldn't completely understand him.

I am touched by the compassion that everyone is showing me. Thanks you
