A wrench has been thrown into Hubby's plan to get the family room done by Christmas. It seems that we should have considered the fact that all the carpet layers in the city are not sitting around waiting for our phone call. They have actually been busy and are all working up 'till Christmas eve when they don't want to. So, our carpet will be in on the 31st. Who wants to come over for a New Years party???
The second coat of paint is on the walls and I've done the faux finish on two of the four walls. It should be finished today. I have taken pictures but am having trouble saving them to my computer for some reason. I LOVE the new family room! It's going to be BEAUTIFUL. I do not own any designer clothes, but my paint is Ralph Lauren.
So now, with the pressure taken off to get the room completed for the 25th, I can concentrate on the other stuff of Christmas - like getting the rest of my house in order. I should not be blogging. Get up Janet! There's work to be done!
