Proud Parent

Parent-teacher interviews were this morning. The girls both had glowing reports. Randy's teacher seems to care a lot about his academic development and reported much improvement from last year. Emily's teacher commended us on how well we've blended our family and said that she rarely sees a step-parent show as much interest in a child as I show in Emily. What a nice compliment! It also shows me that the she-ex has not said anything bad about our family to the school staff recently. The meetings with all the teachers this morning left me feeling like a pretty darn good parent. All three kids are well respected at school by the students and staff and they make me very proud.
