Hubby has found another way to make easy tax-free money. Unfortunately, it involves risks and he comes home smelling pretty bad - but he's happy. He actually worked yesterday from 6:30 a.m. to about 11 p.m. Then, at 1 a.m., he began cutting wood for the new wall in our downstairs bathroom. The guy never quits! But I'm not complaining because he's happy...And when he's happy, everybody's happy. I'm just so amazed at his energy and drive - both of which I'm seriously lacking.
I'm also totally going to brag about my kids now: Last night we went shopping for stuff for my son's school project. Both kids bought things with their own money - and I'm not talking toys. K got a binder for school and R bought a bunch of supplies for his project. I wished that I could have bought the stuff for them but am proud that they were able to do it themselves and are completely understanding the value of money. Also, this morning, both kids got up and got themselves ready for school. Randy even did a load of laundry! Kianna is riding her bike to school today for the first time. I am so proud of how responsible they are.
Now, I feel like I'd better get busy and keep up with the rest of my got-it-all-together family. Did I mention that the sun is shining today and it's warm out? Seriously, I can't wipe this stupid smile off my face. I'm happy.
