Mom

Happy Mothers Day everybody! My kids made and brought me breakfast in bed. It was the good kind too - dessert breakfast! Two waffles with chocolate ice cream and chocolate chips in between and a caramel Hershey kiss on top. The girls gave me cards that they had made. It was all very thoughtful and sweet (literally sweet).

It's amazing how once you have kids you suddenly appreciate your own Mother so much more. Remember when you were punished or lectured about something and she said, "I'm doing this for your own good"? I now know that she meant it. The love that I feel for my own kids is so strong that I'd do anything for them. I want the best for them always. My Mom has always been there for me. Especially in the last year. She's supported me and prayed for me and has been there to listen when I needed to talk. I have so much respect for her and I just wanted to say to you Mom, Thank you. I love you. Happy Mothers Day.
