Happy Sugar Day!

Halloween. My least favourite holiday. Heh, We don't even get a day off work! Always last minute running around to find a costume. Putting ugly things in front of our house. What's to like about it? Ahhh... The Chocolate!

Last night, the kids arrived home at 9:40 p.m. Randy had this freshly painted cardboard box in pieces and a big idea of how we were supposed to make it into a costume. I shut down. I just couldn't figure out how I was going to get it put together and looking nice. Thanks again to the he-ex for sending the kids home with giant unfinished dreams. So, I called in Hubby who reluctantly turned the football off and came to help. He complained as much as I did, but got out the tools and ended up making Randy a pretty good costume. I was very impressed. Pictures to come later. The boy has his first school dance today. Fitting isn't it that he also just finished a music project on Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven.? They probably don't play that to mark the end of the dance anymore - Do they?

From the Memory box today:
