R & K are up at the farm this weekend for a special pony club Christmas party which leaves me here with Emily. (Her Dad is busy with his second job and hasn't been around much) We went shopping last night and had a good time together. Today on the agenda is more shopping. Em is not happy about it. She keeps asking me if she can do stuff and I hate always having to say no to her. I'm tired of hearing "But my Mom always says yes to me!" In a lot of ways she's easier to handle when it's just one on one. But it is exhausting having to give her all my attention ALL weekend long. And when we're out at the stores, she asks for stuff constantly! Now I'd love to get her something whether it be a toy or a yummy treat to make her feel special but when she demands so much and doesn't appreciate what she gets, I get resentful. *Deep Breath* I hope I can make this day fun for the both of us.

2001 Hubby made up this silly balloon dance and the kids joined in. I live for those days when we can all be together, relaxed and just plain goofy.
