March Madness

I'd like to say that I've been busy, but I haven't. It's March break and I've done nothing but watch tv and play xbox all week. It's not that I haven't had time to blog - I've just had nothing to say.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I figured that if I can't think of anything to write, I could go back to the memory box and post some pics.

A quick look on the calendar told me that not only is today St. Patrick's Day, but it's also my former SIL's birthday. Happy Birthday Nicole. (Not that she reads this) I found a picture of her wedding in 2000.

Other March birthday's include: My cousin Robyn, My (former) nephew's Mikey, Coulson and Josiah (Nicole's son - born March 18, 2002), the she-ex, My cousin and BFFIRL Christine, My Mom, My former SIL Cheryl (pictured on the right), and My daughter Emily. Not to mention several bloggity friend's birthday's as well.

Happy Birthday to All!

I was miserably unhappy during the months leading up to Nikki's wedding. Being a bridesmaid, I felt like ending my marriage before her wedding would have taken away from her special day and caused extra stress on the rest of the family. I remember covering up bruises on my arm with makeup and crying in the bathroom during the reception over the loss of my own marriage. The he-ex of course, was oblivious to the emotional enormity of the day. As for me, faking it was a way of life back then. I wonder how my blog would have read if I had had one?
