Learning the art of Communication: Frustration

Me: Don't just tell me what you think I want to hear. Tell me how you really feel.
Hubby: We ALWAYS have this conversation!
Me: If you don't want to have a baby, just say so.
Hubby: Fine. I don't want to have a baby.
Me: But you said before that you did. Are you telling the truth now or were you telling the truth then or did you just change your mind?
Hubby: If we had a baby I'd be so happy. It'd be great.
Me: Okay, so can we start trying again?
Hubby: We already tried. I don't want to go through that again.
Me: So you're giving up?
Hubby: No.
Me: I don't get it. Do you, or do you not want to have a baby with me?
Hubby: You know how I feel.
Me: No I don't. That's why I'm asking!
Hubby: We've already had this conversation!

ARGH!!!!
But every night, I ask him what he wants for dinner and he's able to tell me with complete details EXACTLY what he wants.
