Hell has frozen over. The she-ex just picked up her daughter. She told me that Emily missed us all a lot but that she especially missed ME!! She said that Emily missed me more than she missed the kids. More shocking than what she said to me was the fact that she actually said it. For her to give me such a compliment so easily blew my mind. I don't think I'm the enemy anymore. The future is looking good. We may actually be able to co-parent this child. I'm cautiously optimistic.
