My son got up early today and rushed to school to shovel snow with his friends. He wants to earn points with the teachers. He has NEVER rushed home from school to shovel our driveway or to take out the garbage. Humph.
My daughter informed me that the grade six boys (including Randy) shoveled snow yesterday too. But the teachers wanted them to make a pathway from the front of the school to the back doors for students and parents to walk on. Instead, the kids shoveled a nice big dry patch of asphalt on the basketball court. Made me laugh.
