Poor me

Well, although stressful, the last two days have gone very well. We are now back to waiting mode. Also, back to a full time pursuit of the perfect job. After six weeks of no income (and we had no savings to take from either), all credit is maxed out and payments are being missed.

I have been poor before. I've had very little and had to make do with what we had. This is not new to me. The part that's new is the debt. We owe so much. Everyone is waiting to collect, and charging interest. At least before, when I was scrounging for money to buy a bag of milk, I knew that I had nothing to lose (except maybe weight). This time, I'm aware of all that we could lose.... And it's terrifying.
