So, we tried to pay the insurance company this month, but there was not enough money in our account. The bank charged us $30 and the insurance company charged us $50 in service charges because of this mistake. Talk about kicking someone when they're down!!! Both mortgage payments come out today. We're short $100.00. Hubby's out hoping to deliver enough pizzas by 3:30 to make the payments.
I have not received a call about the job that I really wanted. Looks like I may have to go back to waitressing...at least if I do that, I won't have to wait two or three weeks for the first dollars to start rolling in. Tips are taken home daily.
I was reading some job postings last night that I was interested in to Hubby and my son. One was a front desk position at a health club. As soon as they heard the type of business, both boys looked at me and said, "Uhhhh.......NO!" Ha ha. Thanks for the encouragement guys.
On the bright side, the sun is shining and the weather is warming up. The last patch of snow in our yard melted yesterday and the kids went to school without coats today.
The he-ex is moving up north to his parents farm. His dad is buying him a cube van that he can live in. This has been the he-ex's dream for quite some time - to live in a cube van. (Gee, I wonder why it didn't work out between us?) Now, I'm not sure if the van will be mobile, and of course the he-ex will owe his father the cost of the van. The kids will have beds inside Grandma's house when they visit.
The Family Responsibility Office have requested proof of my change of name which I provided them with yesterday. This means to me that my case is open and that they are working on it. If the he-ex refuses to pay child support, one of the first things that they do is to take away his drivers license. So, I'm not sure that when purchasing a cube van to live in, it is necessary for the engine to be in good working order - At least in this case. Also, it may be good for him to get used to living in a small cube without windows.
