Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers

Okay, So I haven't been blogging in a LONG time because I've been having problems with my computer accepting cookies. (I also can't get into my gmail account - so if you want to contact me, hotmail works) Frustrated, and about to throw the whole unit out the window, I clicked BlogThis as a last resort, and LOOK!!!! I can Blog!!!! Just wondering how they know it's me since I didn't have to log in?

ANYWHO...I missed you guys!

So, What's been going on since I last posted?

Been busy painting and fixing up the basement. I HATE the colour of my hallway. It doesn't look good with the family room and it's sooo dark. I'm leaving it though until the new year because I just can't bring myself to pick up another paint brush right now. Also - For any of you who are thinking of using Ralph Lauren's faux finish paint called River Rock - DON'T! It is so hard to work with.

Here's a decorating question: How many colours of wood are acceptable in one room? Our bathroom cabinet is a sandlewood finish. The baseboards are sort of an oak colour and the door is a light pine. I think I'm going to have to paint the pretty wood door because it just doesn't go with anything else. I dunno.

In other news: Kianna ran the last 2.2 km of the Niagara Falls marathon on Sunday. Hash ran with her. She did really well, coming in around 20th out of over 200 kids. I'm so proud of her!

The other big news is that my brother's getting married in less than two weeks and we've spent a lot of time shopping for just the right outfits to wear...But maybe I'll post about that later today because that's a whole post in itself! The big struggle today will be taking Randy to get his hair cut. It's out of control and since he's in the wedding party, I think he needs to tone it down a bit. I'm just not sure what to tell the hairdresser? I want him to still feel cool. I like his hair long, just not poofy and in his eyes like it is now. I just hope that they don't make him look like a dork. We might have to slip a couple of Paxil's into his juice to sedate him before we leave. (Just Kidding of course. Put down the phone!)
