Just another day in the basement.

Yesterday was Hubby's 39th birthday. Of course, we spent it at the casino. I kept winning and handing over my chips for him to lose at another table. Ahh..Marriage. It's all about the give and take. I think he enjoyed his day.

The she-ex has returned to being uber-nice and I suppose that I should just forget about her threats a few days ago to take Hubby to court "because he doesn't deserve to own half her house."

Emily apparently overheard Hubby and I talking and told her mother, my daughter and half the school that I was pregnant. We were not about to lie to the kids and so we officially told them about the pregnancy last night at dinner. The girls are very happy about it. Randy didn't react one way or another.

This waiting to see a doctor is driving me crazy! Yesterday I had mild but persistent cramps/pains all day and this morning I had "floaters" (spots) in my vision. There is so much more at stake now that the kids are emotionally involved in this pregnancy. Monday (my doctor's appointment) can't come fast enough!

We received a call this morning that Hubby will be going back to work next week. I probably won't be going back for another couple of weeks yet. It's been good to have the time off, but it'll be really nice to get out of this house! (And out of my pajamas)

AWWW $&*$! My laundry tub just overflowed again. Must go and soak up all of the water from the carpet.

I'll leave you with a picture of my old man - A few years ago when he was in his mid thirties - You know...Young like me! HA HA HA
